I haven't had a single problem with downloading, installing, and configuring TaeoUI v2.0B, with one exception: TipTac. I can configure TipTac to my liking, but if I do anything to change the UI Width setting - or, for that matter, if I change anything else that requires an "Update" on the TaeoUI Control Panel - then TipTac discards all of its settings and resets to all of its defaults. Why is this?

TipTac Resets?

Ah, I believe Poly intended to just have the anchor re-appear in it's default position since anytime Taeo needs to run an update it is possible the anchor could be obscured or even off-screen if a significant resolution change was made. I'm sure the full reset was unintentional.
As mentioned Poly is currently on vacation but he's been checking in shortly most nights.

Just wanted to let you know: This problem apparently still exists within the updated build (TaeoUI v2.0.1b).

Anytime you update the UI, the addons are be re-written with the default TaeoUI settings based on the options you selected. Since TipTac has no options, it just re-writes the default config information. In the future, we could probably allow you to choose which addons get reset when you click "Update" and in fact, we probably should. We could also try to be "smart" and extract the custom config you've done and reapply it (though this is a much more significant investment of resources because it involves keeping track of EVERY setting in EVERY addon).
However, in the mean time, I'd recommend setting up all of the config panel options as you like them, clicking "Update", and THEN doing your own custom config. If you don't click "Update" or "Reset to Defaults" TipTac shouldn't reset. Once you do your initial setup, you shouldn't have to click either of the buttons unless there is a significant change in your UI needs.

Actually, as I learned last night, it resets every time I leave the game.

Pursuant to this issue, I've put in place a fix that will make "Update" only affect addons that actually need to change. So, for example, moving the buff bars won't reset Grid anymore. The long term fix to this problem is to put in checks to see if custom settings exist already, and if so, only overwrite the ones that are necessary for doing what the option says. This will take a good chunk of time to implement, so it'll be placed behind the more pressing bugs for the time being.
