Pitbull problems

So first I'd like to say thanks for all the hard work and for the beautiful UI.

2.0 seems very clean and neat! The only problem I've been found is that pitbull seems a little bit off (Using 1680x1050). Combo points ( with druids and Rogues ) seems a little bit off and it's hard to see. Mana bars are too low and it's hard to check and all the pitbull configuration doesn't seem like the screenshots.

And what about the right chat frame? should it be auto configurated or we should use that space for whatever we need?

  2. @ Wivz: Did you mean to post something in your second entry? It looks like the Forum may have cut your text off.

No I didn't, I was going to reply another topic and accidently posted here.

  4. I'll try to answer all your questions regarding Pitbull when I get home. I expect to continue tweaking the look to closer match the original Taeo UI.

There doesn't seem to be any focus frame enabled.

You also need to test out DK unit frames - its player frame, Presences, and Runes overlap. I tried the Unitframes at top and bottom - same deal. I would also assume the same issue would exist for Warriors and Paladins but I have not tried them out yet ...

  7. Thanks for the input guys! This is what the beta is for! Looks like we overlooked quite a bit of class specific stuff in this release.

Shapeshift/stance bars should be good but we didn't account for runes, combo points, or totem timers. We'll add it to the list.

Ashaneil, would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of your DK? I just tested it out on a few resolutions. The presences were positioned normally (beneath the players frame) and the runes were above (where they would eventually be overlapped by status bars).

Lastly, I'll have to speak to Poly about it again but I believe the second chat frame cannot be automatically configured due to technical limitations in the API. I'm not certain on that however.

The presences and the runes are showing correctly. I guess my issue is that presences r faded out? and classtimers r overlaping runes. This may be by design, not sure. Presences need to be slightly bigger in order to make it easy to switch when needed and may want to offset classtimers so u can see the runes.

  9. Ah I see what you mean now Ash. The presences bar has been intentionally faded out. We debated for a while on where exactly to place the bar and came up with that after testing many other options that were deemed "fail". If we hear that enough people aren't happy with it we will consider some other options.

They're a bit small because that same bar also handles Paladin auras (not to mention warrior stances, druid forms, and stealth). If they were much bigger they would spill off beyond the player frame for Pallies.

To be honest, the placement of the "stance bar" as we call it came somewhat last minute. Both Poly and I place such buttons on our normal action bars. For example my Druid has her all her forms on the 3rd action bar. My Warrior has two buttons for changing stances on his action bars. As I change stances the buttons simply change to whichever two stances I'm not currently in.

As for runes we'll likely find another location for them.
