1) Chat pane: it's working fine now, but I see others have moved theirs inside the texture rectangle. How do I do that?

2) Again, I don't really need them, but if I wanted, how would I place the meta-game buttons: Quests, Friends, Talents, Help, Achievements, etc.?

3) How does one add Friends, open one's Friends list, and basically deal with the social scene via Taeo UI?

4) How are the Raid party/Dungeon members panes configured? Playing my Priest, I would have liked the panes bigger and including buffs and de-buffs at a glance (configured in Pitbull, yes?)

1) Right click the "General" tab on your chat pane and click "unlock". Move the pane to where you would like it.

2) Type /bt4 and click the micro bar options and click enable. Unlock the bars and move it to desired position.

3) Hit the "O" button. [Default Social Window Toggle]

**4) No, The raid panels on the left hand side is called "Grid". This is highly configurable and I suggest you look up some guides to adjust it to what you would like.

**Number 4 may be wrong, Grid is the one for me in a party due to my aspect ratio. It may be that you are using pitbull frames. If you could provide me with a screenshot I could help you configure them properly.

Hey Natus,

By default Taeo UI uses Grid for party and raid frames, not Pitbull. It is extremely powerful in that it lets you fit alot of information into a small area. The only downside is it can take a bit to configure perfectly.

Take a look at the Grid config (/grid config) and experiment with it. Grid works on a system of "indicators". You can assign certain statuses (buffs, debuffs, incoming heals, afk, etc) to appear on one of these indicators. Multiple statuses can be assigned to one indicator with each one having a higher priority. For example, here is how my grid is setup on my resto Druid.

center text - unit name, lifebloom stack/time
top right - rejuvenation
top left - regrowth
bottom left - wild growth
bottom right - mark missing
border - aggro
center icon - curse/poison

I left out some things but that gives you an idea at least. Just play with the settings while in AV or something and see what you like.

Hi again, guys!

I've noticed that every time I log back on to a character, the chat pane is smack in the left hand texture box, and that space I use for other things. That means every log on I have to Unlock the chat pane and then move it up out of the texture. Is there any way to Lock the chat pane and make it stay there after you log off and on?

It should be staying the way it is. Make sure you are logging off/quitting the game properly. A screenshot of what you are talking about would be beneficial as well.

Exius, I have two screenshots for you, but not sure how to post them. But no, they don't stay....they default back to the left texture bar on logging on. And I wouldn't know how to quit or log off IMproperly.

But while i'd like to solve this conundrum, I have to grudgingly admit that the default space works best.

Oh, and can someone remind me how to actually create the Experience bar in the Taeo UI? Another poster was told, but I can't find the post.

Exius, you are dynamite! Let me see if I can stump you...

For one of my toons, I seem to have inadvertantly locked the name "bars" of my warlock, his pet, and my warlocks target. Can someone remind me how to unlock these so that I can move them around like normal?

Sure!

Type /pitbull -> Global Settings (Left hand side of the waterfall menu) -> Uncheck the "Locked" option.
