Taeo UI 2.0 Beta Released - Forum Live

A month’s hard work has paid off. The fully featured Taeo UI 2.0 Beta is now officially up and available for download. We can say beyond a doubt that, even in a slightly unpolished beta state, Taeo UI is the most usable, attractive, and full featured AddOn compilation out there. Here’s a brief list of the features we’ve added to this version of Taeo UI.

• Easy to use skinning system
• Unique dynamic profiles system adjusts the UI to the current situation
• Simple configuration menu for those who want to tweak their UI
• Lightweight - Taeo UI won’t stress your computer’s resources
• Flexible design fits every class and every role
• Don’t forget it looks great!

Today we also would like to announce the birth of the Taeo UI Forums. We decided to add forums to the Taeo UI website in order to offer a higher level of support to our users, especially during the beta. Now you don’t only have Poly and myself to turn to for assistance but other Taeo UI users as well. It is our hope that a few enthusiastic users might step up to become moderators themselves.

Over the next few days and weeks I’ll be touching up the site and adding stickies to the forums. Right now we have a Skins forum however sometime down the road we would like to turn it into a full fledged gallery where users can submit, download, and rate custom skins! In the mean time make sure you check out the beautiful skins that Shelbi Roach of The Bronze Kettle has created for us.

Lastly, Poly and I have been trying to come up with a good way to reward those who donate to Taeo UI. Now that we have forums we could pretty easily whip up some snazzy animated avatars much like the blues from the official forums. What do you all think?

   Just a suggestion here. Include a readme file in the download. I don’t need it, but others might.

   Holy cow. This is amazing. Better than I even expected. My donation is in, and I’ll likely keep it up if this great UI stays up to date!

   Holy buckets, its HERE!! I just started using 1.0 a week or so ago and i loved it on my 24″ Widescreen monitor. It looked… amazing. I cant wait to use 2.0!!

   Hey it looks great, but when I switched from the old one to the new beta, the original wow action bars showed back up. How do i fix that? Thnx.

    Wow, it looks as though it doesn’t override the old ones like the old version of Taeo did. All I did was disable the other action bars(bottom left/right-side 1/2) and it worked a charm! Keep up the good work, and a readme for us noobs would be great cya.

    @Doc
    As far as I know, you can solve that issue by deleting all of the addons titled “Blizzard” with something on the end.
